Data protection

This site measures its audience and, when we run ads, how well they work, from the moment you arrive, with no banner and no prior question. Swiss law allows this, provided we inform you and let you object: that is what this page does. It says what is collected, by whom, for how long, where that data goes, and what you can demand.

The principle

You are informed, and you can object

This site does not ask you to accept or refuse measurement cookies: our tools run from the first page view. The Swiss Data Protection Act allows this, on two conditions that this page meets: telling you what is measured, by whom and where it goes, and letting you object. This is not a formula, it is how the site is built.

If you object, the site works exactly the same: you lose no page and no feature. One line to hello@wttm.ch is enough, and you can also block these cookies in your browser settings.

01

Who is responsible

wttm.ch is published by OGGO, Ferreira, a sole proprietorship registered with the Geneva commercial register, Rue Jean-Gutenberg, 3bis, 1201 Genève. Swiss business identification number (UID): CHE-115.331.185.

WTTM is a brand of that company, not a separate legal entity. So OGGO answers for your data, whichever brand you wrote to us under. Any question: hello@wttm.ch

02

This site collects something in three places, and three only

01 · The call back. The form asks for your name and your number. They are used to call you back on the next working day, about your request, nothing else. No newsletter, no sales follow-up. This information is neither sold nor passed to a third party for commercial purposes.

02 · Audience measurement. We use Google Analytics to know which pages are read and by how many people. It measures visits, not identified individuals, and it runs from the moment you arrive.

03 · Advertising. We may run ads on Google. A Google Ads tag then tells us whether a visit comes from one of them, and whether it led to a call back request. It serves to measure how well our ads work, and it too runs from the moment you arrive.

The form also carries a hidden field that only robots fill in: it discards automated submissions and collects nothing about you.

03

Where this data lives

The site, the form and the mailbox are hosted in Switzerland, at Infomaniak. Audience and advertising data, however, is transferred abroad, to the United States, to Google LLC, which processes it under its own rules. We say so rather than hide it in a general formula.

The map on the Contact page is provided by Google Maps. It loads as you approach it: your browser then contacts Google’s servers, which receive your IP address and technical information about your browser, in order to send you the map images. We receive nothing from this exchange; what Google does with it is governed by its own privacy policy. The address and directions remain written out in full on the page, without the map.

04

For how long

A call back request that goes nowhere is kept for twelve months. If we work together, our exchanges are kept for the length of the relationship, then for as long as the law requires us to keep our records. Audience measurements are kept for fourteen months.

05

The server’s technical traces

Like any web server, the one serving this site records the requests it receives: IP address, date, page requested, browser used. That is how hosting ordinarily works, it serves security and fault diagnosis, and these logs are put to no commercial use.

06

What you can ask for, at any time

To know what data we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, or to object to its processing. One line to hello@wttm.ch is enough, and we ask for no justification. We answer within thirty days, free of charge.

If our answer does not satisfy you, you can refer the matter to the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner, in Bern. If you write from the European Union, the European regulation may apply to your request: the same rights hold, and you can refer the matter to your country’s authority.

07

Security

The site is served over HTTPS: what you send us travels encrypted. Access to the mailbox that receives your requests is protected by two-factor authentication. Processing complies with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection.

08

This page changes when the tools change

If we add a tool that collects something, this page will say so, and it will say so before the tool is installed, not after.
